ST Liew is Vice President of Qualcomm Technologies, Inc. and President of Qualcomm’s business in Taiwan and South East Asia. In this role, Liew is responsible for leading all business and operations functions for Qualcomm in these regions. Prior to this, Liew served as Vice President and President of Qualcomm Taiwan. Liew has more than 30 years of experience leading business and engineering teams in the telecommunications industry. Most recently, Liew was Co-President of Acer Inc.’s Smart Products Business Group, which focused on smartphones, tablets and wearable devices. Under his leadership, smartphone and tablet volumes grew several folds. Prior to that, Liew was the Associate Vice President of Acer’s EMEA Smartphone Business Unit. 

Before joining Acer, Liew worked at Motorola where he held several business and technical roles, including leading Motorola’s design centers as well as in product management, product development, manufacturing and test engineering. Liew spent many years in Motorola responsible for a variety of R&D projects ranging from walkie-talkie, pagers and cellular products in markets all over the world.

 Liew received his MBA from the National University of Singapore, and holds a BSc. in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from the University of Leeds, UK.

Jason Coughlan has over 20 years’ experience in the electronics industry and held various Product Marketing roles in audio, power management and graphics segments. He joined Dialog as part of Audio and Power Management group in 2008 and subsequently moved in Wireless Audio Voice BU since January 2016 responsible for driving the product line of audio codec and audio processors. Prior to Dialog, he worked 6 years for Wolfson Microelectronics and also spent 4 years in Taipei (Taiwan) from 1998 working for Silicon Integrated Systems and Pacific Star Technologies.

Jason holds a BEE and M. Eng. Sc. in Microelectronic from University College Cork (UCC) and National Microelectronics Research Center, UCC (now Tyndall National Institute) respectively.

Christine Liao is the Sales Director of ThroughTek Co., Ltd. which is a leading IoT total solution provider. Recently she joined ThroughTek and has been in charge its commercial sales both locally and globally. Her primary responsibilities include strategy development, team management and interdepartmental communication. Prior to ThroughTek, she was a sales manager at NUUO specialized in video surveillance software. She has more than 10 years of experience in planning and executing global projects in Asia, Middle East and partial Europe related to video surveillance and telecommunication. These experiences help her create innovative solutions for IoT in 5G era.

John is Vice President of Applications Engineering at LitePoint. He leads a team supporting key semiconductor partners and major customers ensuring they achieve the best test performance and economics enabled by LitePoint’s equipment. John’s breadth of experience includes R&D measurement and characterization, semiconductor high volume manufacturing test, and system level characterization. John holds a degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from The Ohio State University.

Daniel Chih-Chuan Lee is the senior director of TUV NORD Taiwan Industrial Service Group. Over 28 years Expertise in management systems, process and product validation, industrial system integration and process management, product safety, functional safety and network security, familiar with international standards, testing, inspection and verification specifications. He also nominate as the certification reviewer in functional safety, network security appraisers, telecom engineers, software verification appraisers and other related licenses.

In recent years, he has worked on the integration of product safety, functional safety and network security and critical infrastructure solutions, and participated in the NIST Cybersecurity Framework and NIST 5G mmWave Channel Model Alliance and other forums of international organizations.

Mirian Kuao is Communication Segment Marketing Manager at Macronix, in charge of developing and managing the go-to-market strategies, driving outbound marketing initiatives and business operations. Mirian joined Macronix in 2013. She has almost fifteen years of experience in the high-technology sector.
